30 October 2026. This disclosure describes the private desktop backup program during configuration; production automation is not yet active.

Data and purpose

The owner selects local files for backup. The program encrypts backup contents and related backup metadata before transfer to the owner's Google Drive. Recovery takes place locally.

The Google scope drive.file permits management of application-created or explicitly selected files. The application is not designed to read the owner's mail, calendar, contacts, or unrelated Drive files.

Credentials and storage

OAuth credentials and the original recovery secret are stored privately on the owner's Mac. They are not published on this website or uploaded as plaintext backup material. Google handles account sign-in and authorization.

Use and sharing

Backup data is used for storage, integrity checks and recovery. The local routine does not make language-model calls. There is no advertising, sale of data, website analytics, external script or public file sharing in this design.

This website

The informational website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request data to deliver and protect the site under its privacy policy. The website has no forms, application analytics or external scripts.

Retention and control

The owner controls backup retention. Existing verified copies remain protected during migration. Authorization can be revoked through Google Account permissions; revocation does not itself erase stored backup files. Deletion must follow the owner's separately approved retention policy.
